Improving FH care Should all children be screened?
Childhood is the optimal time for screening for familial hypercholesterolaemia (FH). So is there a case for universal screening of children?
A recent paper reports on a study conducted in Slovenia investigating the potential value of this strategy.
The authors conclude that such a policy could significantly improve detection and potentially intervention.
